Missions of the mountain sections and posts

• Maintain the public order on the touristic routes, around the chalets, on the ski coasts and in mountain resorts.
• Prevent and combat the criminal phenomenon in their area of responsibility .
• Advice, inform and give support to the tourists and persons in difficulty in the mountain areas ;
• Ensure public order during concerts, shows, contests, etc in the mountain areas.
• They permanently know the touristic routes and inform the tourists and the official persons about roads state, about the mountain signs and guide posts, landfalls and places where they are, the possibility of snow breaks and population informing about this in order to avoid the accidents and other negative events.
• Execute co-operation actions with mountain rescue teams.
• Participate together with the special structures of the Rom-Silva society in actions of protection of fauna, preventing and combating the poaching and offences related to woodsy.
• They forbid the access to the homologated ski and routes coasts for motor-sleighs, motor-scooters or sleighs with animals, sleighs or other improvised material or mechanisms, according to the legal provisions.
